EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

What is an EAP?
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefit that is offered to employees and their families. The purpose of an EAP is to assist employees in dealing with problems that may be affecting their jobs and to help them maintain their emotional wellness. EAP services include evaluations and counseling services which are confidential and voluntary.

What are the Benefits of Having an EAP?
At some point in their lives, most people face problems that affect their ability to work and require professional assistance. These problems often lead to decreased productivity in the workplace. An effective EAP can increase productivity, decrease absenteeism, lower health care treatment needs and decrease the number of high-risk workers.

How is Privacy and Confidentiality Handled?
Confidentiality is very important to us. If an employee is self-referred, matters are kept confidential to the extent permitted by law. For company-referred employees, feedback will be provided to the company contingent upon written consent from the employee.

We’re Committed To Helping
